Although I am off from work this coming week, a big expensive trip isn’t in the cards. And that’s OK, no complaints here–but I am a dreamer. This week I will indulge my imagination and (mind) travel to the places I always wanted to visit–no passports or packing needed.
Ubiquitous pictures of the deep blue water next to white washed churches have made Santorini, Greece a place I’ve longed to visit.
One place I’d like to visit, is Ancient Akrotiri–an archaeological site that was first discovered in the late 1960s, but dates back to the 16th century BC. I’ve read that the former homes are decorated with prehistoric frescoes (related mural paintings executed on plaster on walls, ceilings, or any other type of flat surface) and pottery. While I am dreaming about this fab trip and all the places I’ll go, let’s add a killer wardrobe to complete my fantasy trip.
For lunch overlooking the ocean…
I could wear this striped silk dress. The gold gladiator sandals give it a casual yet elegant feel.

With all of the blue and white in Santorini, this orange Lavin jersey dress would be a nice stand out piece for a dinner overlooking the ocean with the hubby. Liz pics by elizabethhorrell featuring stiletto heels
